Good Old Days

My brother forgot to take off the CD from the computer, so I browsed the photos of his batch prefects. So much hit me back then. It brought me back to our Form2 life.

Form2, when we were prefects. enthutiastic. Do everything with semangat. United. We played, we laughed, we even made Pn. Cheam started to join us for fun. We were the first batch of prefects that Pn. Cheam allowed us to have photo session at the foyer after Installtion (at least our seniors didn't do it for us), and we were the first batch of prefects that Pn. Cheam willing to spend her time to help us and accompany us to the trip, a trip, only our batch, only the Form2 prefects.

I believe there must be a reason for Pn. Cheam to do so many special things for out batch, for the afternoon session prefects the first time. There MUST be something SPECIAL about our batch. We all can feel it, the unity, the family feeling.

Everything changed since last year, when we were in Form4. Being separated into 7 different classes might be one of the reasons (compared to the 5 classes before), but more important was that, the trust was gone. The passion was gone. We did not join the activities like we used to in Form2. And I cannot deny that everyone was playing politics as it was our election year. Whatever ppl did we might think that there's a motive behind it, and thus the trust and the bond were broken.

We were once a respected batch, the most united batch as pointed out by our seniors when we were in Form2. We could come early just to crap, just to joke, just to sing, just to gossip. Though time might be a factor that we cannot do so now, but where is our bond?

Prefects, and especially Form5s, I believe you must have some feeling if you are reading this. Remember our old days, the Cherating, the Gathering. This is our last year, can we just do something to make it a memorable one? Can we stop the politics war? Make a memorable leave, like Wen Zhen's batch, for their passion and performance, which were, and still are, our role models, our target to achieve, the goal we sought after.

Fight for the last 6 months people!

  1. Boon, juz forget bout it...
It's too late to change all of us now, what with juz another 6 more months too go, omitting the time we spend ourselves. Leave the past to the past, I say. Too many, too much have gone beyond our grasp. A few words no longer touches our hardened hearts.
    Just... Let go...
