Camp Update

Ok, now where should I start? Reached the school on Monday, and then waited until 9:30 for activity to start in school. We sorta agreed to act fierce for the first briefing. lolx.

Moved to Taman Jaya. First game was "public caning" We form them into 2 circles with even amount of people and pair them up. Once your name is called, your partner needs to react to call someone's name to save you from being "caned" Form5 of course did the "caning" la. Next was "Beep Bob Bang", Beep means continue, Bop means reverse and Bang is...bang. xD You bang someone, the someone has to squat down and the 2 people beside the person being banged has to bang each other.

After that we separate them into groups, and make them think of a name and group cheer. Since some were off to theory exams, so we dont select leader YET. After that returned to school and off to Lembah Pangsun. Me on bus 4, in charge of it. 15 ppl only weih, syok nia. We played mafia on the bus. haha. reached there, rain. wet wet. eesh. After lunch, bring everyone to tent, and the stupid place expect us to sleep 3 in a tent. lol, 2 is maximum la, as if their tent is very big for us like that. now form5s NO PLACE TO SLEEP. kesian us. The guys gotta wait under a PONDOK, surrounding a WELL, and wait for the rain to STOP. =.= (we complained, lol, and yet we are calling all the younger ones keep positive attitude all the time, so paiseh. lolx)

after that obstacle course. You know. check previous post on me showing off thing =p. I paired with chris for flying fox. Before we go (Form 5s are the last as we let all the others go first, raining so badly, let them eat and rest first lo), the facilitator was teasing us weih, say we couple. and worse still, Zean Shiung and Cheng Hoe purposely kena us oso lo. damn swt. Lucky no ppl around, only the 2 idiots and the facilitator. haha. Going down, wei, raining so damn badly, cant even see anything. But I hear something. What thing? CHRIS WAS SCREAMING ALL THE WAY DOWN. haha. So shocked when she start screaming, thought she was scared so keep patting her say dun worry. But after that realized her screaming was a "happy screaming" and I was like...forget it. lol

Then still no tent for guys, we stayed under the pondok again until dinner. After dinner, flag and explanation for the teams to take care of their eggs. so fast break 3 eggs d. We asked them to check, got anything return to us. But some groups blur blur din check PROPERLY. small cracks din realize, and then no choice la, minus marks. Lesson: Be observant.

Next is the night game to look for Form5s. Had some problem with the clues, kinda messed them up dunno why. Mose teams complained except orange. Lesson: Stay positive. (Form5s should be positive too. Dont complain bout the campsite manager tho they are really irresponsible. haha)

After that discussion for Form5s. Sleep really late. 2am or later I think. Btw, we got our tents outside the tar road. They shifted the tents which are badly flooded by the rain. So Form5 guys gotta sleep the wet tent, and let the younger brothers and sisters to sleep the hall.




Second day. Woke up 6am for another briefing on amazing race. After their marching, the game start. Check previous entry. Lessons: Teamwork, Trust, Positive attitude, Be observant, Think fast, Stay calm, Listen to instructions, you name it.

Then lunch, a talk from HELP UC on leadership. They gave us a situation: World War 3 occured, nuclear explosion made everyone dead, only 10 ppl are alive. and they stated the 10 ppl who are alive are doctors, scientist, priest, lawyer, elderly woman, hippy married couple, psychiatry problem army soldier, disabled person, pregnant woman with a 5 years old child and one more is sampah masyarakat. (forgot the exact term xD) Discuss who should live and who should sacrifice. Or if you want everyone to live, all can only live for 2 years. Those Form5s who were not given a team formed a team ourselves la. haha. And I was the disabled person. We came to a conclusion that 3 ppl should live, our common goal was to save the humanity and rebirth the earth.

Pregnant woman die, cause got 3 lives there, wasting too much resources.
Elderly woman die, not fertile.
Disabled person die, useless and not fertile too.
sampah masyarakat, of course die.
hippy carried couple might carry HIV, die. Even tho they can make human, but well, the baby can die of HIV too.
soldier die, who knows if he start shooting everyone.
lawyer was fighting for his right, but still, die. We dont need law in a place where only 3 ppl will live. And humans can make their own rules and laws in the future.
Priest. Alive, the only male who can produce human. xD. and also spread the morality to the coming generation to prevent world war 4.
Doctor, of course alive la, if she dies, what if the others fall ill?
Scientist alive, the only hope to clear the nuclear wastage.

Then rafting. You know what happened. and yea. I was wearing track bottom. You know, track bottoms got 2 layers one right? so my pants was damn heavy: water collected in between the layers. swt la! Cant kick, legs to heavy to move.

Then bath, first time bathing like this. Open air, and whole gang of ppl together. Dinner. syok. catering of course syok la. Ate super lot. Form5s discuss on the groups performances on the amazing race and we eat at the same time. Then their group performance on a specified moral value. Lesson: Teamwork (utilize everyone's potential).

Then night walk. And we chit chatted. Sleep at 2:30am. But surprisingly not tired like that.




Third day. Morning was raining. So can sleep later. haha. Breakfast, then abseiling. Check previous post. But this let them learn about punctuality also. Many not punctual cause want to play. Play, your team not punctual, you make your team wait for you. Teamwork? Being responsible? Punctuality? There must be time where sacrifice is necessary. I think Becca was stunned in front dont know what to say other than punctuality. lolx. But serious la. Many form5s oso let them play cause know not enough time dun1 2 fight with them d. Becca herself also din play.

Nvm, then closing ceremony. Phew, finally bye bye. Memorable camp.
